To continue with today's theme of dead food establishment news, former Zak Pelaccio hotspot Fatty 'Cue will shutter its West Village location after service tomorrow.

The Carmine Street barbecue joint, which has been open since September 2011, was the last of Fatty 'Cue's brick-and-mortar spots, after its South Williamsburg restaurant shuttered last November. As per a statement to Eater from Fatty 'Cue co-founder Rick Camac:

The concept will live on in retail product offerings and as menu items in future Fatty Crab restaurants (most all new Crabs will have a 'Cue component on the menu). We hope to see all of our friends & fans this weekend so that we can raise a glass to the people who made 'Cue so much fun."

An employee confirmed the restaurant would close tomorrow after service, telling us, "I guess we weren't making enough money." Pelaccio cut ties with Fatty Crew last year and has moved on to other projects. You can still sample Fatty 'Cue's fare at the Barclays Center, and Fatty flagship Fatty Crab still continues to operate in the West Village, though its Upper West Side outpost shuttered in 2012.
