And here we have a lovely music video produced by, uh, Chipotle, featuring Willie Nelson covering Coldplay's "The Scientist," which features the refrain, "I'm going back to the start." The video, created by the talented Johnny Kelly, tells the story of a farmer who has an epiphany and (sort of) liberates his imprisoned animals, letting them live free-range (until they're slaughtered to make delicious burrito bowls).
Yes, the video is also [SPOILER!] an advertisement for Chipotle, but when a corporation makes a startling effort to do the right thing, we're all for them taking credit—even it means listening to Coldplay. And all proceeds from the iTunes sale of the song go to The Chipotle Cultivate Foundation, which, according to its website, has contributed more than $2 million to help fund initiatives that support sustainable agriculture, family farming, culinary education, and innovation that promotes better food. For more on factory farming, here's Troy McClure—you may remember him from such educational films as "Two Minus Three Equals Negative Fun," and "Firecrackers: The Silent Killer"!
