Pastrami-lovers, watch your pocketbooks—a thief has been snatching bags from unsuspecting diners at the Houston Street institution Kat'z Deli, and she's still on the loose.

The bandit has hit Katz's at least three times in recent months, plus the perpetually mobbed neighboring pancake mecca Clinton Street Baking Company twice. Her technique is simple: nab purses from the back of chairs, said the NYPD, which released surveillance video of the woman this week. "She waits outside a while to see if the place is busy, then comes inside and pretends to be a customer," a waitress at Clinton Street Baking told The Post. "Of course we will hand over security tapes and do anything we can," an owner of Katz's told the Daily News.

The suspect is described as a black woman between 40 and 50 years old. Anyone with information is encouraged to call NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS or online at
