The fifth location of vegan chainlet by Chloe arrives in Midtown on Halloween in a 2,666-square-foot space at 1 Rockefeller Plaza. With 54 seats, this is one of the larger by Chloe locations in town and one of two new locations in the works for NYC (the other is in the South Street Seaport, opening in 2018).
Two new smoothies will be launching at 30Rock before making their way to other locations. The smoothie will be black and white, in reference to the brand's aesthetic of the same colors. The Black Betty will feature activated charcoal, a favorite among the health food obsessives at the moment, with blueberries, kale, almond milk, banana, chia, peanut butter and agave. The Snow White will be made with almond milk, overnight oats, banana, agave, vanilla extra, flax seed and almond butter.
Though the brand had a fractious splintering from its eponymous co-founder earlier this year, the company has continued to grow and expand. New locations are also opening in Providence, RI and a third location in Boston is also in the works. The first international location, a restaurant in London, will arrive in Covent Garden early next year.
