Just as Pumpkin Spice was making its slow, graceful exit from the world stage, as it does every November, it's back... in burger form. Didn't see that one coming.
Umami Burger has created a Pumpkin Spice Latte Burger, which will be on menus starting November 5th, when it will be offered at the low, low price of $4. Following its debut, it will be available for $12.
The burger features their beef patty topped with a garlic aioli, tempura Kabocha squash (also called Japanese pumpkin), spiced Mascarpone, and a coffee glaze.
The press release included this quote from Brandi, referred to as an Umami Burger regular: "OH MY GOD. I can't. I just can't even. It's so good. I am literally dying. I'm just amazed at how NOT basic this burger is." And they continue to poke fun at the pumpkin craze, advising: "On your way to yogilates or Starbucks, pick up the Pumpkin Spice Latte Burger... And don’t forget to throw on your Uggs. We swear you’ll be OBSESSED after first bite."
Get the burger starting this Wednesday at all participating locations. A rep tells us, "It’s 'while supplies last' but estimated through the end of the year."
