The Williamsburg waterfront seems to know no bounds when it comes to craft beer, artisanal delicacies and live music, so it makes sense that two more foodtacular events are headed for the 'hood this month, going head-to-head with Smorgasburg and the Brooklyn Flea.

First up is newcomer "Brooktober Fest," a beer-and-food jubilee sponsored by the Greenpoint Chamber of Commerce, the East River Ferry and PlanetBklyn; the September 21 event takes place along the waterfront at North 11th Street, and organizers say there will be "a wide variety of food," including a pig roast and seasonal craft beers. And expect live music, too, with rockers J. Roddy Walston & The Business set to headline, along with openers The Warden & Fame and Eye Ra. (Admission is free, but the food and drink is not.)

And if that's not enough feasting and drinking for you, the next day the waterfront will play host to the 4th annual Taste of Williamsburg Greenpoint. This event is not free—tickets will set you back $25 for 4 food tastes and 2 drink tastes, and $45 for 8 food tastes and 4 drink tastes. But a whole bunch of North Brooklyn heavy hitters will be serving up grub at East River State Park, including BrisketTown, the Brooklyn Star, DuMont Burger, Rosamunde Sausage Grill, Pies ‘n’ Thighs and the Meatball Shop, along with alcohol from the likes of Spike Hill, Brooklyn Winery and Fat Goose.

Naturally, there will also be music, with New York Night Train DJ Jonathan Toubin and DJ Queen Majesty tapped to play sets, so you can dance off some of your expectant caloric intake. Plus, all ticket proceeds benefit the Northside Town Hall Community and Cultural Center, which aims to function as a community hub and permanent home for advocacy, arts and service groups in the neighborhood.

Brooktober Fest kicks off at 2 p.m. on the 21st and runs until 10 p.m.; Taste of Williamsburg Greenpoint runs from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the 22nd, and you can purchase tickets on the event's website. And if neither of these foodfests tempt you, there's always the Ramen Burger line.
