Chef Gabriel Israel, a Tel Aviv native, is bringing Israeli street food to Social Drink & Food in Hell's Kitchen. As always, brunch is served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the 4th-floor terrace of Yotel. The brunch menu, which is divided into "classics" and "street food," features Chef Israel's signature spicy Shakshuka; Mushroom Burekas filled with 12-hour egg and served with pickles; and a Sweet Malawach Sandwich served with pomegranate, mint, yogurt, and granola. If you're in the mood for a boozy brunch, the bar will be pouring out classic brunch cocktails like Bloody Marys, Screwdrivers, and Mimosas for just $4 a pop. All entrees are $18 and are served with a complimentary Watermelon Bellini.

If bottomless drinks are more your style, stop by for weekend brunch at The Wayfarer's upstairs lounge. Menu options include Short Rib Hash and Poached Eggs with potato, onions, and ketchup hollandaise and Huevos Rancheros with black beans and cotija cheese. The real star of the 1.5 hour all-you-can-drink meal is the Wayfarer's Bloody Mary Bar, which features a selection of tomato juices, spices, and garnishes—in total, there are 1,440 possible Bloody Mary options, so drink up.

Summer cocktails are good for cooling down, but they're not exactly great for your health. This Saturday, join dietitian and mixologist Maegan Ratliff at the Queens Botanical Garden for the kickoff of her What the Health Should I Eat? cocktail series. By the end of the hands-on workshop, you'll have learned how to make simple, vodka-based cocktail recipes that incorporate seasonal, local ingredients—and you'll probably be a little buzzed. A $25 ticket covers the workshop, a tour of the Botanical Garden's farm, and admission to the Gardens.

You probably can't safely grill on your fire escape, so head to Loosie's Kitchen for their weekly Sunday BBQs. Chef Olivier Palazzo will be grilling up summer classics like Oysters Bloomberg ($9), Cajun Shrimp Skewers ($8), and Baby Back Pork Ribs ($12) on the back patio beginning at 4 p.m. As always, there will be live music, good vibes, and a few surprises.
