The Cinnamon Snail Truck, one of our favorite food trucks in all the land, is not long for this world. Today, they'll be hawking mobile vegan feasts for the last time before departing the four-wheeled food universe (potentially forever).

Earlier this month, the Cinnamon Snail crew announced they'd cease food truck operations at the end of the month, as they found themselves unable to renew their permit. And so, today you can score vegan sandwiches at doughnuts and at 135th West 18th Street, from about 11:20 a.m. to 6 p.m., though you might want to get in line well before 5 p.m. lest you get boxed out.

The good news is, Cinnamon Snail claims they won't be gone for good, and it's possible they'll be able to open a brick-and-mortar location sometime in the near future. For now, though, release your Korean Barbeque Seitan sandwich to Valhalla with the finest Viking funeral, provided that funeral is happening in your stomach, and the necessary fire comes courtesy of wasabi mayonnaise.
