When they ran the tiny kitchen at dinnertable in the East Village, husband-and-wife Chefs Scott Tacinelli and Angie Rito made a big splash with their unique and delicious dishes, in particular, their incredible lasagna for two. Given the lasagna's popularity, it's not a surprise that the duo would make pasta the focus of their new endeavor, having left dinnertable. Their next venture: Pasta Omakase by Angie & Scott, a limited tasting menu that's all about pasta.

On Sunday evenings from November 6th through December 18th, they'll be setting up an encampment in the kitchen at New York Sushi Ko—the couple happen to live upstairs—to turn out 10 carb-centric courses of pastas inspired by both Italy and Japan. Courses include three small plates to start, followed by six pastas and concluding with dessert.

Possible pastas include Buffalo Milk Caramelle with black sesame and persimmon; Kobe Carne Cruda with Calabrian chili, anchovy and sesame; Tortelletti In Brodo with stracchino, pistachio, mortadella "tonkotsu"; and Pici di Grano Arso with duck sausage and preserved plum.

The Sunday seatings begin at 7 p.m. with room for just 10 diners at each. Tickets are $150 and include all the food, a sake-based cocktail, unlimited wine, tax and tip.

Pasta Omakase will pop-up at New York Sushi Ko at 91 Clinton Street
