Brooklyn By Bike's Ride in Search of Dumplings takes cyclists on a seven mile dumpling tour beginning Saturday at 11 a.m. On the ride you'll stop at Tasty Dumpling, a secret dumpling spot, a hand-pulled noodle spot and a pierogi place "for good measure." They suggest a $10 donation for the mini tour, with a portion going to charity.

This weekend is the Harlem EatUp!, celebrating the neighborhood's diverse dining scene with a series of dinners and events. Stalwart eateries like Sylvia's and Melba's are on the docket, joined by newcomers like Blujeen and Minton's. On Saturday and Sunday, the Strolls, free events featuring live music and cooking demonstrations by well-known chefs including Emeril Lagasse and Carla Hall.

LightSpace Studios hosts Plant-Based Bushwick this Saturday, a free event "celebrating compassion and well-being for all living beings." The event features cruelty-free vendors sampling and selling food, beauty products and clothing, in addition to free fitness classes and talks about living on a plant-based diet.
