Taste Talks is back at the Williamsburg waterfront September 8-10. They're celebrating food during three jam-packed days of events including parties, dinners, panels and tastings. Check out some highlights below!
The Tastys (Friday, Sept 8): Taste Talks is thrilled to raise the curtain of year two of The Tastys: a celebration of what's inspiring the new generation of eaters, drinkers, and innovators hosted by Matty Matheson of VICELAND's Dead Set on Life. They’re pushing the boundaries of what a food awards program can be, putting their focus on culture, innovation and diversity. With over 25 award categories including best food startup, best food Instagram account, and best non-profit, Taste Talks is toasting chefs, restaurants, food media and more for their great taste.
Taste Talks Brunch + Conference (Saturday, Sept 9): You’ll discover what's next in food and culture during a full day of food-driven panels, presentations, demos and tastings with some of the best and brightest chefs, authors, journalists and makers including Wylie Dufresne (of Du's Donuts, wd-50 and Alder), Dan Barber (Blue Hill), Floyd Cardoz (Paowalla), Ariane Daguin (D'Artagnan), Dana Cowin (Heritage Radio Network's Speaking Broadly), Jeremiah Stone & Fabián von Hauske (Contra & WildAir), Greg Baxtrom (Olmsted), Dale Talde (Atlantic Social), Sheldon Simeon (Tin Roof), Jamie Young (Sunday in Brooklyn) and many many more!
All-Star Cookout (Sunday, Sept 10): You're invited to Taste Talk's version of a huge neighborhood BBQ (but with chefs and celebrities cooking for YOU!) It’s a day of indulgence with some amazing talent at 12+ grilling stations, such as Dale Talde, Jonathan Botta of Smoke Show BBQ, the folks behind WIN SON and The Meat Hook, Frankie Cosmos, and many more chefs, restaurants and special appearances.
