New York has lots and lots of great neighborhoods for eating, but not too many that are linked by a bridge. Enter the latest food tour from the fine folks at New York Transit Museum, "Bridging the Gastronomic Gap" (get it?).

Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 1, and next Wednesday, August 8, Saveur Magazine editor Todd Coleman will be leading a two-and-a-half-hour tour spanning the neighborhoods on both sides of the Manhattan Bridge. Think hand-pulled noodles, fresh pizza and the like (also, drool). All they ask is that you wear comfortable shoes, loose pants and are prepared to walk and eat a lot. Sounds good to us!

Each tour starts at 5:30 p.m. and costs $65 for non-members ($45 for members). The tours start at the Transit Museum at the corner of Boerum Place and Schermerhorn Street. Tickets, which help fund the museum, are available here.
