Take your happy hour on the go courtesy of Sottosuolo, the Flatiron Italian restaurant that's debuting a Gelato Corretto Cart on Wednesday. The cart is inspired by "caffe coretto," the Italian espresso drink that combines coffee with a small shot of booze. The gelato and sorbettos from this cart will come in flavors like Negroni (Campari, gin, vermouth and orange sorbet) and Sgroppino (Prosecco, vodka and lemon). The cart will be located either inside the restaurant or outside, depending on the day; scoops are $6 each.

On Friday, Eataly's meaty Manzo restaurant hosts A Night with Apothéke: Vermouth, Spirits, and Live Music. The collaboration event will offer "pharmacy-themed cocktails" employing Manzo's impressive vermouth collection, along with food from the restaurant. The after hours party (11 p.m. to 2 a.m.) costs $25 for entry; food and drinks a la carte.

Throughout the month of August, the Plaza Hotel's Palm Court hosts Rosé Nights at The Palm Court beginning at 5:30 p.m. every evening. Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé NV—a "benchmark" for rosés around the world—will be paired with dishes including Caviar Blini with American Sturgeon Caviar and Smoked Salmon on pumpernickel bread with creme fraiche and grapefruit pearls. The pairing of two savory and two sweet dishes with one glass of wine runs $45, with a la carte glasses of wine for $30 and bottles for $135.
