Summer may be the season of the outdoor food market but that doesn't stop Madison Square Eats from giving us a reason to bundle up and dine al fresco when the mercury dips below 70. It's the 5th year the pop up food court has taken over the space across from the park and they've got a pretty stellar lineup of food market regulars mixed with some of the trendy dining spots showing up on foodie lists and the like.

Roberta's, Calexico and momofuku milk bar all have stalls at this season's setup. Dan Delaney—he of the rapturous brisket—debuts his foray into Mexican BBQ with TacoTown, offering four different tacos including one (shockingly!) vegetarian option. Each taco sells for $5 (!) and you can choose between Chopped Brisket (with cheese, chili sauce, and red onion relish), Pulled Pork (with chicharones and sala verde) or Fried Chicken (with cheeze sauce [sic], iceberg, and jalapeno). Look for a Brussels Spouts option in the next few days.

Other vendors include Slide, which specializes in "gourmet" sliders, ice cream sandwiches from Melt Bakery, creperie Bar Suzette, La Sonrisa empanadas and lots of other sweet and savory options. MSE operates daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. now through October 27th.
