It's hard to think about eating anything other than a block of ice today, but even this heat requires solid sustenance to keep your body from turning into a sad puddle. Here's where to dine this week:

On Tuesday, Blue Ribbon Downing Street Bar in the West Village will host a beer tap takeover with Beer Table owner and brew expert Justin Philips. He'll curate a series of tasting flights using offerings from local breweries like Other Half and Transmitter, pairing them with complementary small plate menu items. The event kicks off at 5 p.m. and is pay as you go.

Head to Ainsworth Park in Gramercy on Wednesday for a Lobster Bake, as part of their Summer Seafood Series. The feast includes a 1 and 1/4 pound lobster, a cold draft beer, corn on the cob, mussels, chorizo sausage, potatoes, cornbread, and a coconut cake. The feast kicks off at 7:30 p.m. and runs $55 a person; you can register online.

And on Thursday, Grand Ferry Tavern in Williamsburg is celebrating its two-year anniversary in tandem with the arrival of a new single barrel Wild Turkey Russell's Reserve. The bar will offer special deals until July 25th, with offerings including a free carafe of Skipjack cocktails with an order of a dozen oysters, a $20 single barrel bourbon flight, and $10 cocktails (typically $12 to $13).
