Netflix has still not added The O.C. to its streaming repertoire, an unforgettable crime considering Seth Cohen just made a baby with Blair Waldorf, and Ryan Atwood's got spawn on the way too. But instead of feeling sad that the Newport Beach gang's all grown up while you're eating goat cheese with a fork on your couch, feast your feelings away at one of this week's many food events. Here's what's on tap:

Head to Grand Ferry Tavern in Williamsburg on Monday for the launch of Mexicali Mondays, a new weekly series complete with specialty agave spirit cocktails, live music, and taco and nachos specials. This week, Jared Samuel of the Invisible Familiars will perform—tacos will run $3 to $3.50 each and pico, barbacoa, and mushroom nachos are on the menu as well. The event runs from 4 p.m. to midnight and is free to attend.

Also on Monday, former Louro chef/owner David Santos will hold a pop-up Um Segredo dinner at Delaware & Hudson in Williamsburg. The five-course dinner includes dishes like ocean water cooked potatoes, steak and eggs, porgy, and a cultured butter roasted corn bread—the dinner runs $60 per person, with beverages priced a la carte. You can make a reservation for a seating online.

On Tuesday, the Red Hook Initiative is hosting its ninth annual Taste of Red Hook event, with ticket sales supporting the community organization and its programs. Over 50 eateries, including establishments like Grindhaus, Red Hook Lobster Pound, Brooklyn Crab, Brooklyn Ice House, Baked, and Blue Marble, will offer samples and drinks at Liberty Warehouse from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.—tickets are $200 each, and you can purchase them on RHI's website.

And on Wednesday, head to Vinegar Hill House's Hillside space in Vinegar Hill, where Colonie chef Andrew Whitcomb will host a pop-up dinner. The five-course tasting dinner includes dishes like autumn squash with stracciatella, pepitas and black garlic; smoked mussels, and a swiss chard gnudi. The dinner is priced $65-per-person with an optional wine pairing for $35, and runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.; email liz@colonienyc.com to make a reservation.
