Now that Thanksgiving dinner's safely digested, it's time to prepare your stomach for the onslaught of eating that comes with the rest of the holiday season. Hanukkah is here, Christmas is on its way, and January is the most wonderful time of year when you must eat constantly in order to forget that your skin has frozen off. There are a few places to stuff your face this week—here's what's on tap.

On Monday, head to Chelsea for the 7th Annual Latke Festival, hosted by Great Performances. Local eateries like Veselka, Jimmy's No 43, Toloache, and Jacob's Pickles will provide fried potato pancakes for a panel of judges, and latke-eating laypeople will have the opportunity to vote for the People's Choice Best Latke. Tickets are $64, with proceeds going to The Sylvia Center, and the event runs from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.; purchase your ticket online.

Head to Xixa in Williamsburg on Tuesday for a massive 11-dish family-style feast helmed by the Tasting Collective. Dishes include Foie Gras Al Pastor, Seared Dayboat Scallops, Roasted Bone Marrow, and Baby Back Black Mole BBQ Pork Ribs, and Xixa chef Jason Marcus will be on hand to discuss the dishes. The dinner kicks off at 8 p.m. and costs $45 to attend (cost of drinks not included); purchase your ticket online.

Last but not least, also on Tuesday, Fung Tu on the Lower East Side will kick off its new winter noodles & soup/fried rice and beer special, available Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from open until close. The $15 deal includes your choice of Fried Rice (with brussels sprouts, spinach, garlic chive scrambled eggs, chilies, capers and pickled mustard seeds) or Noodles & Soup (add Lion’s Head meatballs for $3, soy egg for $2) served with a can of beer (selection will rotate).
