Shake Shack's having a very busy month, opening two new locations in just over a week's time. Following Herald Square, Forest Hills, Queens is the recipient of the newest Shack, which will occupy some prime real estate along busy commercial Austin Street when it opens on Thursday. Along with dozens of national chains, the new burger spot will join local NYC chainlets like Bareburger and Martha's Country Bakery.

This is the second standalone Shack to grace the borough following the first at the Queens Center Mall in Elmhurst. This location's charitable concrete is the Austin Street Treat (chocolate custard, peanut butter sauce, sugar cone cookie and banana), with 5% of sales benefiting Queens Community House, which helps kids, families and seniors in the borough.

The other two 'cretes are the Queens Bee (vanilla custard, marshmallow sauce, Liddabit Sweets honeycomb candy and strawberry purée) and Hill of Beans (vanilla custard, Stumptown coffee beans, salted caramel sauce, chocolate truffle cookie dough and chocolate sprinkles).

In addition to locals chowing down on bacon cheeseburgers and the like, the new Shack's just a stone's throw from Forest Hills Stadium, where folks like Bob Dylan, Dolly Parton, and Louis C.K. are performing this summer.
