The DUMBO Shack has landed! And there was rejoicing in the streets of Brooklyn. The new waterfront location is Shack Shack's second in the borough, with the third Barclays center location still in the works. But no matter how many open up, nothing will satisfy New Yorkers' bottomless appetite for Shake Shack; by 12:30 p.m. today there was already a line out the door:

The DUMBO Shack aims to keeps things classy with a fireplace, forthcoming sidewalk café and the chain's signature Frog's Leap Shack Red and Shack White wines on tap in addition to the ShackMeister Ale created by Brooklyn Brewery. Unique to the DUMBO Shack are new concretes, including the Caramel Carousel (a vanilla/caramel/banana homage to Jane's Carousel down the street) and Brooklyn Pie Oh My, made with, duh, pie from local Four & Twenty Blackbirds. Pie flavors cycle seasonally, but the summer's starting off with their Strawberry Balsamic.

If that’s not enough "Brooklyn" for you, the new Shack is promising to keep things eco-friendly, using green architecture and construction techniques, like the Alaskan yellow cedar interior siding reclaimed from retired rooftop water tanks on the Upper East Side.

They’re also partnering with Badass Brooklyn Animal Rescue to save innocent puppies from high kill shelters, so you really have no excuse not to take a second lunch now.
