In celebration of their new Williamsburg location, opening in Spring 2018, Shake Shack is hosting a "surprise party" for their North Brooklyn neighbors tonight, Wednesday, October 4th. While their new location will be located at 160 Berry Street, between North 4th and 5th Streets (in the former Blue Bottle space), tonight's party is being held at the nearby North Brooklyn Farms.

From 5:30 to 8 p.m. at 320 Kent Avenue, Shake Shack will be giving away free burgers and pumpkin frozen custard to the first 300 people in line. RSVP is required if you want to snag a free Shackburger, but this doesn't guarantee entry; the event is first come, first serve.

In keeping with the Williamsburg spirit, "independent alternative folk band" Cold Weather Company will be providing the soundtrack for the evening.

The event will be held at North Brooklyn Farms, a community green space located in the shadow of the former Domino Sugar Refinery.

Expect killer views, free burgers, and probably an ironic t-shirt or two, because Williamsburg.
