Penn Station commuters, you're getting another tasty food option—you'll just need to be patient. Shake Shack confirmed that it is taking space in an underground concourse at the maligned transit hub.

The Post first reported, "The 10-year lease had an asking rent of $500 per square foot for the 2,489-square-foot store." A spokesperson for the popular burger chain told the Commercial Observer that they'll open next year.

In 2014, Shake Shack announced it would open a location in Herald Square, on Broadway and 36th Street. Both locations better be ready in time for the pre-Thanksgiving crowds, or there's going to be riots:
