Shake Shack is launching a limited-edition BBQ menu next week, starting on February 7th at all locations (excluding airports, stadiums and ballparks). The star attraction is a delicious-sounding "BBQ ShackMeister" burger, which Shake Shack describes as "100% all-natural Angus beef cheeseburger topped with ShackMeister Ale-marinated shallots and Shack BBQ sauce." (The burger will set you back $6.49 for a single or $9.29 for a double.) The popular chainlet will also offer a BBQ Chick'n Shack sandwich, made with "100% all-natural and antibiotic-free chicken breast" with Shack BBQ sauce and pickles ($6.55).

The housemade BBQ sauce takes its cue from multiple regional styles, hopping from the thick tomato-based richness of Kansas City to the sharp, mustard tang of South Carolina style, according to Mark Rosati, Culinary Director of Shake Shack. And if that's not enough BBQ for you, Shake Shack will also be selling some BBQ Bacon Cheese Fries (topped with all-natural smoked Niman Ranch bacon).

Do the right thing and wash it all down with a few choice, seemingly inspired shakes as well: the Mint Cookies & Cream, Mud Pie (marshmallow frozen custard blended with fudge and coffee, topped with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles) and the Salted Vanilla Toffee.
