If you're not busy waiting in line for gas or transportation, consider spending your time (and cash) to help out victims of the storm: Fundraisers are already underway across the city, providing a more beneficial way to help out than refreshing Twitter and sarcastically retweeting Con Edison.

Momofuku Three Ways For The American Red Cross
Momofuku is hosting three events across the city to benefit the Red Cross. Má Pêche in Midtown will donate all proceeds from today's lunch and dinner, and the cocktail connoisseurs from Booker and Dax will be slinging cocktails from 5:00pm to close. Momofuku's Noodle Bar and Milk Bar are hosting a pop-up in Williamsburg Friday and Saturday, open from 7:15 p.m. tonight at 382 Metropolitan Avenue. And if you want to help out in a big way, Momofuku is teaming up with Café Boulud on the Upper East Side to offer an inclusive six-course dinner, priced at $495 for one of only forty available seats. Tickets can be purchased online.

Zone A Dance Party
Tonight in Zone A, Popgun Booking will host a DJ dance party at Glasslands Gallery starting at 11:30pm. On the ones and twos (More likely one or two MacBooks) will be Bear In Heaven and Small Black, both performing DJ sets. $1 from every drink served will go toward hurricane relief, so get there early and drink up. Entry is free with an RSVP on their event page.

Staten Island Halloween Party
We saw how hard Staten Island was hit by the storm, so a fundraiser for the boro is sorely-needed. This afternoon, the STS Family Guild will host a post-Halloween party in SI's Charleston neighborhood for all the kids who didn't get to trick-or-treat as a result of Sandy. Entry is $5 for kids in costume, and will get them pizza and beverages. Proceeds will go toward local families affected by the hurricane.

Restaurants Help Out
Some restaurants, rather than hosting fundraising meals, are heading straight to the streets and delivering food to those in need. In Manhattan and Brooklyn, food trucks like Wafels and Dinges, Milk Truck, Frites n' Meats, Eddie's Pizza and Rickshaw Dumplings are giving out 11,000 free meals. And the Brooklyn Kitchen and the Meat Hook have joined the effort, delivering canned goods and staple items to the Rockaways. The eateries have set up a website where you can help by either donating or directly bringing food to the storm-ravaged Rockaways.

If you're not in the area of a fundraiser, you can always watch the Bruce BROtOOOOCE Springsteen benefit on NBC tonight at 8pm.
