As we previously mentioned, Rosamunde Sausage Grill, founded in San Francisco in 1998, is opening its first east coast location in Williamsburg, in the space formerly occupied by creepy/sexy bar Savalas. We can now happily report that the restaurant has announced its opening date: Starting this Friday September 7th, at 4 p.m. you'll have your choice of 20 different kinds of sausage, char grilled and served with choice of two toppings on a French roll or as a sausage plate with German baked beans and green salad.

And it doesn't stop at sausage—Rosamunde will open with a full bar pouring 24 draught beers "selected to represent the many different styles that pair with our sausage." Cocktails are classic, and include a Dark and Stormy, a Pimms Cup, and a Vodka Lemonade. Many of the mixed drink are made with soda from Rosamunde's house soda program, which features flavors like kola, root beer, ginger, orange, lemony, and others.

Rosamunde on Bedford's regular hours, starting Saturday, will be from 11:30 a.m. through 12:00 midnight Sunday through Wednesday, and closing at 2:00 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. (This Saturday Saturday September 15th they'll be celebrating the opening with $1 pints from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.) Check back later in the week for photos from the inside.
