Blink an eye and another divey Williamsburg venue bites the dust. This time it's The Trash Bar, the decade-old PBR pusher on Grand Street, which will likely close in March, the bar's booking agent tells Time Out New York.

"We can't afford to stay in Williamsburg," explains Walter Stack, the bar's booking agent. "Our rent is going to quadruple and that's out the question." Love it or hate it, the spot had a long history of catering to the neighborhood's musical interests, first as electroclash club LUXX and then as Trash Bar when it opened in 2004.

The possibility of relocation has been dangled, of course; "We might look at Bushwick, but we'd need to find the right space," according to Stack. Someone tell them it might be too late for that.

A call to Trash Bar went unanswered, but we'll update when we find out more.
