Salty rice and corn puff purveyor Pirate's Booty was one of the early adopters of the "healthy" snack food market, now populated by Pop Chips and those sad 100-calorie packs of Oreo "Thin Crisps." Now the company is entering into the supper table game, with a new line of boxed macaroni and cheese products with their signature swashbuckling pirate enticing you with a big bowl of cheesy nautical noodles.

The macs will be made with quality ingredients like organic wheat pasta and "real" cheese (as much as dehydrated dairy dust can be considered real) and no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. They'll be a product more in line with the Annie's offerings rather than Kraft's iconic electric orange noodles; plus it comes in anchor shapes!

The initial line includes four varities: Shells & Cheese Aged White Cheddar, Mac & Cheese Aged White Cheddar, Mac & Cheese Mild Cheddar and Anchors & Cheese Aged White Cheddar, with "pirate-themed" shapes. The product is available at Stop and Shops and Targets throughout the city; check for locations here.
