Hell Yeah, Lady Chefs

<a href="http://www.starchefs.com/chefs/rising_stars/2008/new_york/bio_vera_tong.shtml">Vera Tong</a> of <a href="http://events.nytimes.com/2008/02/20/dining/reviews/20rest.html">Dovetail</a>'s butterscotch pudding with bananas and homemade BBQ potato chips spiced with smoked paprika, sugar, and salt.


<a href="http://www.public-nyc.com/pastry_chef.html">Ellen Mirksy</a> of Public served these enigmatic looking, crazy tasting Muscovado pavlovas with pink peppercorns, fromage blanc cream, and cranberry caramel compote. They weren't dinosaur eggs.
