On Thursday, the newest addition to the growing Barcade brand will open on St. Mark's Place. Currently, owners Paul Kermizian and Pete Langway run four other Barcades: in Williamsburg, Chelsea, Jersey City, and Philly. With the latest, they're focusing on fight games—Kermizian tells us there will be "mostly '90s games, with lots and lots of fighting games. We've been open for 10 years and these will be the first fighters we've ever put out. We figured it was time and why not put them all in one central location on St. Mark's. Seemed like a perfect fit."

The full list of games can be found here, and includes BloodStorm, Die Hard, Punch-Out!, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, along with more peaceful games like Centipede, Donkey Kong, Ms. Pacman and Michael Jackson's Moonwalker.

Aside from the arcade offerings, the main attractions will be the beer, wine (no liquor at this location), and a bar food menu with offerings similar to the Chelsea location (Kermizian says "our chef from 24th Street, Lee Knoeppel, will now be chef of both locations).

In its previous incarnations, the building, located at 6 St. Mark's Place, housed Mondo Kim's and the Saint Mark's Baths.
