The South Slope just scored a laid-back new outdoor drinking and eating fun zone called Greenwood Park (Facebook), just a stone's throw from the gorgeous Greenwood Cemetery. The long-awaited 13,000-square-foot establishment, located in a former car mechanic lot, serves cheap bar grub and good deals on beer—there are $3 drafts from noon to 7 p.m., and Brooklyn Based reports that they'll be showing the Euros final on Sunday. The owner is Ted Mann, who also operates Cubana Social and the sweet No Name Bar in Williamsburg.

As you can see from Sam Horine's photos, the menu currently includes a Watermelon Salad with feta, basil, and red onion ($6); chicken wings; an all beef hot dog for $4; and a grass fed burger for $7. On draft, the beer options include a Captain Lawrence Liquid Gold, an Empire Amber, and a Good Island Summertime, among others. Horine was there yesterday and tells us "the food was all together decent and will get better as kitchen gets it all worked out with a day or two of practice under its belt."
