Philadelphia's popular donut shop Federal Donuts descends on NYC once more for a one-day pop-up this Friday at Chelsea Market. The donuts will be taking over the Dizengoff space—owned by Federal Donuts mastermind Chef Mike Solomonov—from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., offering three donut flavors and free coffee.

The doughnut robot will be frying up the "Hot Fresh" dough rings on Friday, in Indian Cinnamon, Apollonia and Strawberry Lavender flavors. The donuts take just over three minutes to cook and are tossed in sugar and other seasonings while still hot. Donuts will be $2 each and the counter will be serving free coffee from 9th Street Espresso.

Solomonov and business partner Steve Cook are in town to promote their new cookbook, Federal Donuts: The (Partially) True Spectacular Story that was released last month. The duo will be signing copies and anyone who purchases a book will be given a free donut.

This isn't the first time the Philly crew has traveled north. Federal Donuts came to NYC in 2016, bringing not just their donuts but also their popular fried chicken sandwich for night only, and also supplied free donuts to Phish fans during the band's Baker's Dozen residency at MSG earlier this year.

Federal Donuts will operate out of the Dizengoff stand at Chelsea Market at 75 9th Avenue
