Starting this weekend, the owners of Blue Ribbon Sushi Izakaya on the Lower East Side will make a foolhardy gamble on New Yorkers' insatiable appetite for brunch. On Saturday and Sunday, for the first time, they're offering an all-you-can-eat, "more-food-than-you-knew-you-wanted" Grand Buffet Brunch.

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.
The menu features a dazzling array of delicacies to shove in your face, from sushi rolls to fried chicken to Jumbo Buttermilk Pancakes with Apple & Pecan syrup. See the whole menu below—here's something for everyone, particularly those for whom "all-you-can-eat" isn't an offer, it's a challenge.
It's $29.50 for just the buffet and non-alcoholic drinks, but for $39.50 you can also order from the a la carte menu. Boozy beverage options include Bloody Mary Shochu Clay Pot and Mimosa Service, as well as a variety of cocktails. Kids under 12 get to stuff their faces for $10. Reservations, which are recommended but not required, can be made by calling (212) 466-0404. The Grand Buffet will also be offered this Monday and New Year's Day, and after that only on weekends, until some "remorseless eating machine" sues them.
