Get your fill of oysters, sausages and mustachioed homebrewers (amongst other things) all in one place at this weekend's Taste Williamsburg Greenpoint. The event will take place in an empty waterfront lot (how very Williamsburg) this Sunday, and will feature some 45 local restaurants sampling their wares.

Expect gazpacho with rock shrimp from Dressler, smoked bratwurst from Loreley, oysters from some Southside scenester haunt, and plenty of Brooklyn Brewery beer to wash it down with. Other restaurants joining the party include Betto, Fette Sau, Lodge, Nitehawk Cinema and Walter Foods, to name just a few. And, because this is Brooklyn, there will be a performance art/food collaboration between artist Carrie Ahern and Marlow & Daughters' butcher Andrew Dorsey relating to the idea of "farm to table." Live music will be provided by local bands Friend Factory, Roosevelt Dime and People's Champs.

All proceeds benefit the development of the Northside Town Hall Community and Cultural Center, a nonprofit that will house the Neighbors Allied for Good Growth and the Peopleʼs Firehouse, Inc. Tickets range from $35 for six tastes to $85 for unlimited bites of the treasures of North Brooklyn.
