New York MagazineNew York Magazine published its annual Cheap Eats list, highlighting restaurants under $25. Start at the top and work your way down the list, and don't forget to stop at Gothamist favorites -- 'inoteca, Bao Noodles, and Alta. Although they're not on the list, Daisy May's BBQ chili carts are featured prominently in the article -- apparently we can look forward to a few new locations before the year's end.

Their companion article features favorite cheap eats of the rich and famous, including Ivana Trump, "I must confess, I really don’t have many cheap-eats favorites myself. But I do have three kids who love to munch on the go all around town. Or we’ll have takeout," and Hideki Matsui, who calls Donburi-ya on 47th Street between Lexington and Third "the McDonald’s of Japanese food." After seeing Supersize Me, we're not sure if this is good or bad.
