Hard Times Sundaes, the burger truck parked in a lot behind a Walgreens in Mill Basin, has just become a lot easier for much of NYC to get to. Truck operator Andrew Zurica has moved his operation to the Pfizer Building on Flushing Avenue in Williamsburg, reports Grub Street, and he'll be delivering his smashed burgers and bacon-wrapped, deep fried hot dogs throughout Williamsburg and Bushwick.
What might have been a nearly two hour trek for many city dwellers is likely to be a easier trip on the G, J or M trains to find Zurica and his truck in the parking lot. Orders can be placed online during the day for either a home delivery or a walk-up delivery, when Zurica says he'll "happily walk to the entrance and hand-deliver" a Triple Burger, fully loaded.
Grub Street also mentions the arrival of a breakfast sandwich that'll use a burger patty in lieu of sausage with a poppy-seed Kaiser roll for transportation.
