Gotham Organization, which runs the Gotham West Market in Hell's Kitchen, debuted their Brooklyn spinoff Gotham Market at The Ashland inside the luxury development of the same name.

John Stage of Dinosaur Bar-B-Que has a big stake in the new food hall, including an Italian restaurant and pizzera, Apizza Regionale; a rotisserie restaurant called Flip Bird, which serves an excellent spiced fried chicken (at a preview event, anyway) along with rotisserie birds; Bar Granger, serving cocktails and wine; and the forthcoming Egg at the Bird, serving breakfast items like sandwiches, house-made breads and coffee

Mason Jar, a Midtown Southern bar and BBQ joint, will also operate a stall, along with a temporary pop-up from Crabby Shack, the Crown Heights seafood spot serving very tasty crab rolls and the like. In February, tapas spot Boqueria will also open up a sit-down restaurant in the space.
