The meat masters and generally goofy dudes behind The Meat Hook announced their newest venture today: Meat Hook Sandwich. Opening next January, the new store riffs on the butcher shop's already popular sustainable meats, offering a menu of five sandwiches plus a rotating selection of daily specials.

On the opening lineup: iterations of a roast beef sub, Italian sub, turkey sub, grilled ham and cheese and a roast pork sandwich. Owner Tom Mylan also taps an "undisclosed baloney sandwich" and a "gross vegetarian" as two possible other options; daily specials will be determined by "whatever we have too much of at the butcher shop."

Expect "cold beer" and "sandwiches like momma used to make, if momma was drunk," according to their email blast. Sound good, fellas!
