Usher in autumn and the return of sweater weather with a big taco and tequila party taking place in Williamsburg on September 23rd and 24th, days two and three of the new season. The Taco Takeover promises tasty tacos from a dozen local restaurants, tequila and tequila-based cocktails, and even a guac bar for VIP tickets, which are only $69 (nice) compared with $55 GA.
The Well Brooklyn in East Williamsburg plays host for the New York City version of the Fest. Empanada Papa, Mexico Lindo, Oaxaca Taco and El Luchador are four of the confirmed food vendors, who will be serving tons of tacos plus elote, boozy paletas, and churros.
The alcohol component of the Fest includes tequila samples, margaritas, micheladas and beer. Both food and alcohol are unlimited for the duration of the two and a half hour entry time (three hours for VIP).
The Taco Takeover will take place September 23rd and 24th at The Well Brooklyn (272 Meserole Street). There are five sessions spread out over the two days.
