Exemplary Long Island City cocktail bar Dutch Kills looks to be adding another Queens heavyweight to its lineup of throwback cocktails. Word on the street says that the M Wells team will be taking over the food service section of the bar previously occupied by Blissville. A source tells The Court Square Blog that Hugue Dufour and Sarah Obraitis will begin dishing out their creative vision in about a month.
Neither the Dutch Kills Team nor M Wells immediately returned our requests for details, but given the proximity to Dufour and Obraitis's other offerings, M Wells Steakhouse and M Wells Dinette, the info sounds plausible. Will there be bone-in burgers and spaghetti sandwiches? We'll update when we find out!
Update A Facebook post from Dutch Kills confirms that M Wells will be taking over food operations, likely beginning September 15th.
