If you needed an excuse to check out the recently returned outdoor food fest Smorgasburg tomorrow (before the afternoon rain) maybe this will do it? Tomorrow the dearly departed and mostly loved Queens diner M. Wells will be making an appearance with portions of duck-fat poutine to sell. Which should hold you over until they open their planned new restaurant (not to mention their upcoming M. Wells Dinette in PS1).

Meanwhile, M. Wells isn't the only addition to the Smorg this weekend. La Casa Camba, an offering from a group of Salvadorean brothers, will be serving things like "a Salvadoran sweet platano cooked over wood until the natural sugars caramelize the exterior, then brushed with butter and brown sugar and served with a tangy crema and choice of Bolivian llajua or sweet potato habanero salsa." And Pipsnacks, from a brother and sister team, is also joining the feast with healthy snacks like hulless popcorn—which means no kernels in your teeth!
