The restaurant at "gastrohall" Union Fare launches brunch this weekend, following in the spirit of their insane croissants. The star of the new menu: The Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich, a gargantuan mess of apple sausage, egg and cheese on a sliced cinnamon roll with a bacon glaze. If you're not ready to start taking a statin just yet, there is also a Grain Bowl with fried eggs...and a Breakfast mac n Cheese with bacon and sausage. Balance!

CoolMess, a brand-new ice cream parlor where patrons make their own ice cream, has collaborated with Instagram stars the Brunch Boys to create a brunch-time ice cream sundae that would have given your 12-year-old incarnation a serious sugar high. The creation features Belgian waffle pieces, vanilla ice cream, hot fudge and a handful of Cap'n Crunch cereal and chocolate-covered espresso beans.
