Junior's, New York's iconic cheesecake purveyor, was almost razed in a record $45 million dollar luxury condo deal that went south last fall. Though the company operates two other locations in Grand Central and Times Square, the Brooklyn location is where the brand was born 65 years ago and today, for less than a cup of coffee, you can have your very own slice to hopefully usher in 65 more years.

In celebration of its 65th Anniversary, the restaurant is offering slices of Obama-approved cheesecake for 65 cents all day long. All you have to do is head to their Flatbush Avenue digs and join the line of the faithful who are making the pilgrimage for cheap cheesecake. You can either take a slice to go or you can have a slice with your entree for the special price. Limit one per customer, and the deal is only at the flagship location in Downtown Brooklyn.

One guy who won't have to wait in line is the Mayor of Kansas City, Sly James, who won the World Series bet against Mayor de Blasio. Among his bounty is a Junior's Cheesecake, which will be a nice way to celebrate that fleeting feeling that his city is significant.

Junior's is located at 386 Flatbush Avenue and open until Midnight.
