Gothamist jumps at the chance to pick up zucchini flowers whenever the opportunity presents itself. Due to their perishable nature (they last only about a day or so), they are rarely an ingredient you can actually find with any real consistency.

As such, Gothamist likes to stick to the classic Italian preparation of stuffing the blossoms with a fresh, herb flecked ricotta (and some toasted pine nuts) and pan frying them in a shallow layer of garlic-infused olive oil.
