Long Island's "hot dog hooker"

/"weiner sex worker"/"frankfurter floozy" Catherine Scalia was officially sentenced today. The 45-year-old pleaded guilty to prostitution charges last month after she told an undercover cop who bought two hot dogs that she could put a little something on the side and was sentenced to seven days in jail.

Scalia sells hot dogs from a Winnebago in Nassau County and cops said "The agreed amount [for a sex act] was about $100 and then to further engage in an additional sex act—it was another $50." Of course, Scalia was known to authorities: In 2004, she was also arrested for prostitution while selling hot dogs.

Back in May, when Scalia, of East Rockaway, was in court, she admitted that she was "stripping" when she was arrested. When the judge asked if she was engaged in the act of prostitution she said, "yes," and giggled. However, she told reporters, "Prostitution is sex. I’m not selling sex, I’m selling my cleavage." At any rate, Scalia was sentenced to time served.

After her arrest, police also shut down her business, either because residents hate her or because of a land issue.
