We're just about 48 hours away from a horde of inebriated santas sloshing their way through Manhattan en route to SantaCon 2018. Organizers have now released a full list of participating bars you will want to avoid that day. If you really want to avoid having someone stumble into you, we'd recommend you just completely avoid everything between the East Village/Union Square area, the Murray Hill/Kips Bay region, and Midtown.

But before that, the first place you'll absolute positively want to avoid is Plaza 33 (33rd Street & 7th Avenue), where the event will kick off on Saturday morning at 10 a.m.

Then there's the map of all the participating bars, which as you can see below, is a handy way of seeing the quarantine zones:

Here's a written out list of bars to avoid (which you can handily print out and/or memorize). The "Special Santa Venues" require a $12 donation, as they are larger and offer additional hellish delights such as undoubtedly terrible DJ, holiday decorations, "sexy" bar games, rooftops, cash prizes, etc.

As we reported earlier this week, the Long Island Railroad, New Jersey Transit, and the Metro North have all issued 24 hour alcohol bans to coincide with the bar crawl/public urination competition. Of course, if they're already blackout wasted by the time they get onboard, things have a tendency to get obnoxious fast...
