Join fellow young philanthropists helping City Harvest’s fight against hunger in New York City by joining Harvest Happenings.
Harvest Happenings members gain access to exclusive culinary experiences throughout the city, while also helping to feed New York families in need. Past events have included a lobster demo and rosé tasting at Burger and Lobster; drinks and food atop the Arlo Hotel; and a beer basics course and tasting at Stella Artois. Members also receive discounted prices and special benefits at City Harvest’s signature events, like the annual spring gala and June restaurant tasting event.
In addition to culinary events, the package includes two group volunteer opportunities: one at City Harvest's annual Repack to Give Back the week before Thanksgiving, and another at one of City Harvest's Mobile Markets, which distribute produce in high-need communities in a farmers market setting.
Harvest Happenings members are invited to attend a behind-the-scenes speaker series, which feature an insider’s perspective on the work City Harvest is doing to help alleviate hunger in New York City.
