There are few things Gothamist loves more than BBQ (pandas and Law & Order come to mind), so with all the 'que in New York City now, our stomach is enjoying itself a bit too much. Over the weekend, we headed over to Ward's Island for the 3rd Annual BBQ NYC. It was a great time with great food and music by The Flanks, how could one go wrong?
On the menu were brisket, whole hog, chicken, Elgin hot links, and an Alderwood smoked salmon. If that wasn't enough, there was also corn on the cob and several desserts brought by some of the 350 attendees. Our favorites included the brisket, the salmon, the sausage and the cole slaw (pretty much everything we ate).
