I think it's time for Gothamist's weekly restaurant news roundup. I'll start us off with this very interesting article from the NY Times: McDonald's Strives to Regain Ground. Is it just me, or is the following paragraph a little snarky for the business section? "McDonald's has promised an expanded menu before, but it has not had a blockbuster new product since the Chicken McNugget, which was introduced in 1983. Other attempts to diversify their hamburger offerings, like the McLean sandwich and the Arch Deluxe, have all gone to their respective McGraves." I mean, McGraves? Is this Salon.com?
