The lovely Ms. GirlyNYC is on a well-deserved vacation so the rest of the Gothamist Foodies are going to do our best to step in and keep you up on cookbooks while she's away.
First, this week's Time Out New York does a great roundup of new NYC cookbooks, including Anthony Bourdain's Les Halles Cookbook (reviewed by SFist), Serena, Food & Stories, by Serena Bass (subject of a recent cupcake column), and Cocktails in New York, by Anthony Giglio (which just appealed to us -- you know how we love our cocktails).
Second, rare bookseller Argosy Book Store is holding a cookbook sale through November 29th, selling cookbooks for $4 each. Argosy Book Store, 116 E. 59th St. between Park and Lexington Avenues, (212) 753-4455.
