Brooklynites, indulge in the ultimate trifecta of borough foodie fadishness: whiskey, pickles and jerky—locally-sourced, of course—all together under one convenient roof. Brooklyn Oenology Winery in Williamsburg is hosting a tasting next weekend with the three so-hot-right-now ingredients, and you're all but guaranteed to meet the tattoo-covered urban homesteader of your dreams.

The all-local whiskey, pickles and jerky tasting on December 10th and 11th will feature whiskeys from Breuckelen Distilling Company, Finger Lakes Distilling, and King's County Distillery paired with pickles from McClure's, Brooklyn Brine, and Rick's Picks, and jerky from Field Jerky Co, who will be bringing in a jerky-cured whole cut of beef to explain where little jerky babies come from. Or shell out $13 for a three-drink pickleback pairing, because nothing washes down dried beef like a little shot of hard liquor and liquid salt.

The best part? Pairings are available Saturday from 3pm to midnight and Sunday 12pm to 10pm, and vendor representatives will be on hand with free samples on Saturday from 3 to 7pm, which should leave you plenty of time to sober up before going out and drinking again.
