David Chang's flourishing fried chicken brand Fuku swoops in for a landing in its new home in Brookfield Place at the end of November. A scoop by Commercial Observer reveals that the brand has inked a seven year deal for a 672-square-feet inside fancy food hall Hudson Eats, a sleek food court that opened in 2014.

Fuku will take over the Little Muenster space, which closed earlier this summer (owners Vanessa Palazio and Adam Schneider are opening a full service Nicaraguan restaurant in Bushwick this fall). The new location also comes with the announcement of a new chef for the brand, Stephanie Abrams, who previously cooked at fancy chicken spot Rotisserie Georgette.

This is the second location of Fuku to open in FiDI following the opening of a Fuku location on Wall Street over the summer. "Hey, now Fuku has views of both rivers!" quipped Spencer Levy, who represented Chang in the deal.

In June, Quick Bites columnist Scott Lynch called the restaurant's signature "Chimek" entrees "one of the best single bites of food I've had this year."
